Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia
Google it. If you look at the photos, that is reason enough to put this salt flat in Bolivia on your list. I feel like this would be a trip of a lifetime to photograph this usual surface and view my reflection.

Blue Lagoon, Iceland
In the middle of a fantastic nature scene, the Blue Lagoon is an oasis of relaxation. It is easy to believe that this is one of Iceland’s most famous attractions. The Blue Lagoon’s waters are not only beautiful and warm, but it is rich in skin nourishment. Who wouldn’t need to relax in a geothermal pool after a long vacation exploring the beauty that is Iceland.

Petra, Jordan
Petra, a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, is known as Jordan’s lost city. Half-carved and half-built into the rock, it is one of the most famous archeological sites in the world. Petra is situated between the Red Sea and the Dead Sea, two other famous landmarks in the Middle East. This is the most intriguing of the New Seven Wonders to me. Petra has been inhabited since prehistoric times, believed to be built as early as 5th century B.C. All I have to say is WOW.

Ha Long Bay, Vietnam
Famous for its ocean karst topography and its crystal clear waters, sailing on Ha Long Bay is easily a bucket list item. Ha Long Bay is located in North Vietnam, which is also a place I would love to visit one day. Sometimes listed as a natural wonder of the world, who wouldn’t want to sail on Ha Long Bay?

Seychelles Islands
Located in the Indian Ocean, northeast of Madagascar, the Seychelles Islands is a 115-island archipelago. Out of all remote islands, for some reason these I’d want to visit most. Flights out of New Orleans are quite expensive to visit, but I would love to save up and have the ultimate island vacation here. The beaches and water is so clear that you couldn’t possibly lose sight of your feet. I hope to visit one day and tell everyone all about it!

Aurora Borealis/ Northern Lights
Have you ever seen the Aurora Borealis phenomena? Every bucket list, I’m sure, includes seeing the Northern Lights. I currently don’t have a particular location of where I would like to admire them, but I will go where I can! A few places where you can get the best view of the Northern Lights, according to the National Geographic, are Alaska, Iceland, Canada, Norway, and Greenland. There are obviously many more countries and locations. If you are interested in seeing the Northern Lights, I recommend reading the linked article for more information on each location.

Morocco
Morocco is a country with many cities that I would like to visit. These places include Marrakesh, Fez, and Casablanca. My number one thing I want to do while there is ride a camel. Morocco is a country located on the northwestern coast of Africa. Another major bucket list location in Morocco is the Blue City of Chefchaouen. Ever want to camp in the Sahara Desert? This is the place to do it. I could list so many reasons why I want to visit this beautiful country, but I’ll let this picture speak for itself.
Banff National Park
Of all national parks I want to visit, Banff definitely takes the top of the list. From Lake Louise, to Moraine Lake, and to the beautiful mountains, the scenery here is like no other. I have obviously never been, but the photos make me want to hop on a plane and go. This has to be a MUST visit location for photographers. Not only is Canada usually a great place for female, solo travelers, but Banff is a great location for hiking. There are busses and other modes of transportation that can take you from your lodging in Calgary to the park. Calgary is the closet airport and also has cheaper accommodations than staying in the park itself.

Namibia
Many people wouldn’t think to travel to this African country, but after looking up the sights to see here, it will be on your bucket list too. I look to The Blonde Abroad’s blog a lot to read about where she has been and where to go next. She has a beautiful blog and great information about Namibia that has inspired me to visit. Take a look and see the many reasons why this has become a top bucket list item for me.

Cappadocia, Turkey
If you search images of Cappadocia, you’ll see mostly images with hot air balloons. I would love to take a hot air balloon ride in this beautiful region. Cappadocia translate to “the land of beautiful horses”. It is known for its underground cities, cave churches, and hot air balloon rides. This area peaks my curiosity and I am not exactly sure what to expect on a trip here, but all the more reason to visit! Not sure how many days I would need to visit, but I would definitely tack on a couple of days to explore Cappadocia.
