Having travel apps on your phone make things so convenient! Having the right apps on a trip can save you both time and money. There is truly an app for everything, helping your experience to be much less stressful. Here are my favorite travel apps that I have on my phone!
Get Your Guide:
This is a travel booking app that helps you discover and reserve tours, attractions, and unique experiences around the world. With verified reviews, easy mobile tickets, and fast booking, it’s a convenient way to plan activities on the go. Whether you’re looking for guided city tours, skip-the-line museum tickets, or adventure excursions, the app offers curated options to enhance every trip.

PackPoint:
Take the hassle and stress out of packing and download PackPoint before packing for your trip. This app creates a customized list of what you’ll need for your trip! Enter basic info like the length of stay, dates, destination, and activities you plan to do there and the app will create a list for you to save for future use. The app allows you to share your list with fellow travelers as well!
AllTrails
I have used this app countless times for planning hiking trips and plan to continue using it in the future. AllTrails includes over 50,000 trail maps along with reviews and photos from other hiking enthusiasts! This app is also great if you are searching for biking or running trails as well. The app allows you to record yourself during the trail and the detailed driving directions will get you to the trailhead in no time!
Hopper
I don’t use Hopper the most, but occasionally I’ll check the app to predict flight prices. The app has a price-monitoring feature that allows you to receive notifications when a particular flight of your choice has a price drop! Users can compare flights on more than 250 airlines. Hopper helps you to know whether you should go ahead and book that flight or hold off for a better price.
Hostelworld
Hostelworld has an app! I know you’ve read about Hostelworld on here before, but download the app for convenient use. Are you spontaneous and wait to book your stay the night of arrival? Using the app can make that much easier. This app is great for solo travelers to meet other travelers during their vacation. The app has a Hostel Noticeboard for events and meetups and can translate up to 37 languages!
TripIt
A simple way to create a travel itinerary. What could be better than that? Forward your confirmation emails and TripIt will create a large itinerary to help keep you organized! The app sends real-time alerts to notify you if there are any changes to your plan (like flight delays). Simple and organized are my two favorite words!!
Waze
This app is great for the road. It provides community-based data to inform you of any traffic jams. It provides other information like the fastest route to your destination and the cheapest gas stations. Waze provides more features than the regular Apple Maps (for iPhone users). Waze also have voice-guided navigation if you choose to use that feature.
AirBnb
I am a huge AirBnb user so I have the app ready anytime I begin planning a trip! The app does everything that the website does but at the tip of your fingers. This is a much more effective way when communicating with your host, especially when you arrive at your destination!
Skyscanner
Skyscanner is another app that travelers use to find cheap flights. This app searches millions of flights and provides you with the best options. The app also has a feature that tells you the cheapest days to fly to your destination and sends you a notification if the price changes!
There are so many different travel apps out there for you to use besides just these! These are just the ones that I use either very frequently or from time to time! What are your travel app recommendations? Let me know if there is something you use to find cheap flights, stay organized, or plan for your vacation! I love finding new apps to help with traveling!
